You can write one or several of these items separated by "and":
  • Free text (UniProt ID, UniProt AC, UniProt description, gene names, other protein IDs [Refseq, IPI, RGD, Pombase, TAIR, MGI, EuPathDB])
  • One of the following tags (tags followed by ":" require an input)
All proteins
Reviewed proteins in UniProt
Gene names in UniProt
Searches proteins having a motif in one of its protein sequences (use standard ASCII regular expression format, e.g. L.C.E)
Searches proteins having a specific GO term
Search proteins located in a given subcellular compartment
For more complex queries with UniProt annotations, go on, and submit below the list of UniProt identifiers.

Find palmitoylated orthologues

This tools allows the identification of palmitoylated orthologues among palmitoylated palmitomes and targeted studies. The result table displays a series of information for the genes related to the identifiers present in your original list. For each of the genes, it shows for each species if orthologues can be found in existing orthology databases, if some of these orthologues are linked to palmitoylated proteins, the categories of techniques used to identify the orthologues in the screen, the palmitoylated sites of the orthologues and the pubmed ID corresponding to the targeted study. The orthology relationships are found in OMA, MetaPhors, OrthoDB, Ensembl and InParanoid.

List of protein/gene identifiers

Details on the input file:
A tab-separated file with a header in the first line. First column is the protein/gene identifier. Identifiers can be protein identifiers (UniProtKB ID or Accession, Ensembl IDs) or gene identifiers (Ensembl IDs, gene name). Extra-columns are accepted and will be displayed in the result table.
